hey guys new to leons going to get my first 1 the weekend and looking at s2000 filter does anyone know what size reducer I will need? I understand this may of been covered a few times before.
Will an induction kit fit a Leon cupra MK1 180bhp as have noticed there is a bolt fixing after the airbox? Which one is best to buy etc, thank you if advance

bolts can be removed air filter box can be removed very easily just buy a 80/70mil silicone reducer and an s2000 filter all off ebay for less than £20. the reducer is bery tight on the filter but hot steam works well as a lubricant
Yes it's sounds awesome. Especially with the 007 and bonnet sound proofing removed. That set up will be too loud for some people but I love all the noise it makes
The only thing is they are paper filters not mesh like a k and n so will in theory need replacing every year or so.
But still a much cheaper option.
For £12 just throw it in the bin if it turns out you don't like it.
probably no difference at all but its paper and doesnt need oiling wich ciuld mees your maf up... but its your car s2000 is verry popular cause of the price and its oilless and its a direct fit to lcr's
I've just done this on my 2001 cupra, one thing, there is a pipe coming from the front bottom of the engine that goes into the original air box, what do you do with this now? If you have to.
