Anyone know how to remove the trim that goes around the top grill on a seat cupra 290 mk3?

If you do decide to take it off I'd invest in 4 more of them 4 pop out screw things on top of the grill as they are sometimes a pain to get off and the head snaps off if you try and force it.

Bumpers really not that hard to remove to be honest, took me 15 minutes. I made a guide in the guides section on how to do it which may help you if you do remove it.
I've took it off before to fit the front splitter and I used your guide then which is really good, i was just hoping i didn't have to take it off just for the trim lol.

They pop right out if you turn the inner screw part 1/4 turn :)
Yeah that's how they should work, but mine once you turned them then tried to lift the head up wouldn't budge at all so had to use a flat head to pry them up and some of the heads snapped.

Maybe they became brittle or something from age

How do you actually unclip that piece of trim? Is there no way you can read down from the top and up from under the car to undo the clips?

I've took it off now and you need a screwdriver to push down some of the clips and you wouldn't be able to get to them with the bumper on, so definitely bumper off job.
