Another mib1 to mib2 question

Sorry to bring up this age old question.

I have mib1 with sat nav, seat sound etc, with the 5.8inch screen. What is the cheapest way to get mib2 for android auto? Do I have to get a bigger screen or can I keep the one I've got? Can the hacking stuff be done without sending to Poland?
I've read so many threads that I'm totally lost now.

You need the bigger screen as the 5.8" screen is not got a high enough resolution. The MIB2 unit is designed to work with a bigger screen with higher resolution to support the minimum resolution for Carplay you see. I appreciate you want Android Auto not Carplay, but as the unit is designed for both it will be setup that way.
