Well, first thing is you'd need the dpf taking out. Which is now an MOT fail and why a lot of tuners stopped offering stage 2 for diesels.

Yeah, the exhaust is a big restriction on both petrol and diesel which is why Stage 2 for either involves a new exhaust. If I recall the MOT rules extended to checking if a dpf has been tampered with. And I thought any black smoke from a diesel was a fail.

All I can say is, depends on where you take it, how thorough they are and how willing they are to look the other way if they do find it's missing. It doesn't stop people from having it removed, but it has stopped a lot of reputable mapping companies from doing it.

Ah... here:
Your vehicle will get a major fault if the MOT tester:
-can see smoke of any colour coming from the exhaust
-finds evidence that the DPF has been tampered with

My sister has DPF delete on hers but we we know the MOT geezer so our cars always pass with flying colours (bottle of whiskey in the glove box goes a long way lol)

Shouldn't kick out black smoke with a DPF delete, if it does either the map is rubbish or you've got a big boost leak.
You can make 210bhp ish with the DPF in place, upgrade the FMIC, intake, maybe an exhaust and a good remap.

Will be fast enough and still pass an MOT at any centre you take it too, also worth remembering that a car with the DPF deleted is harder to sell now, everyone knows it's a straight MOT fail.
