Standard exhaust tips removal

Has anyone removed the standard exhaust tips on the Cupra hatch and replaced them with different tips? If so how’d you go about it? Cheers

Not done it myself, but they need cutting off, and new ones welding on.

Do you think I could use a sleeve and clamp so they can be removed back to stock easily?

You'd never have it 100% like stock again to be honest. But you could stock looking tips.

Issue you have if you want to convert the existing tips, is you'd have to have a smaller pipe coming out the back box for the original adapted tips to go back over.

You're better off just getting them rewelded back on again later or getting an aftermarket tip that's close to stock.
