Hi all,

Now, this may be a long shot but... I am looking to add a valved exhaust to my CUPRA R (Based on CUPRA 300). The exhaust would be custom fabricated. I want to control the exhaust valves through the drive selector on the main entertainment screen. (comfort-OFF sport-OFF CUPRA-ON). Is this in any way possible?

A further question that I have, Would it be possible to have the exhaust fabricated in such a way that when the valve is open the system is straight piped but when the valve is closed it would have a catalytic converter and a muffler/resonator?

- I already have a TrackSlag 4" Downpipe fitted.
- Mk3 CUPRA R HATCH (Limited Edition Model)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Modes working with the valves is doable.

JE design’s exhaust for the Cupra does just that. But it’s the only one I know of.

One with the cat I doubt, as you’d need a completely different map between modes. Not to mention how you’d program the engine to cope with the switch over moment.
