Had timing belt and water pump done and also front wishbones replaced.
Noticeable difference with dem bones! Car feels much better.
Cautiously optimistic that the water pump was the cause of me loosing so much coolant. I was filling up the reservoir every morning and again in the evening to get home from work, heater was also running cold more frequently (not something you want in this weather!) So far I've driven my car from garage to home, work then back and today after I got to work (30 miles each way) the coolant level warning beeped at me. Hoping it's just the system bleeding the air out. Wish me luck guys.

Refit my scuttle tray as i think thats where the leak is coming from. Will find out tommorow. If i haven't fixed it, its onto rear light clusters, doors seals...
Replaced the boost gauge pipe (still purple :)) rather than rag it out and feed the pipe through blind again i cut the head of a screw and joined the two pipes together and caked em in fairy liquid and just pulled the new one through.
Tried to fix the nsf window regulator and made it worse so had to disconnect the switch from the door so our lass doesn't drop the glass into the door lol. Need to find a replacement.
Also adjusted the tracking again.
Full interior exterior clean. As im half way through my 2weeks off the rear seats had become a wasteland of half eaten nuggets and chips so had to be done  plus gave the boot a thorough gutting out and clean.

Received my new cut key blades so changed them out on both my flip keys, however, when I tested them they wouldn’t turn in the ignition. On closer look the new blades have been cut a wee bit narrower than the original:

Contacted the company and explained this, they apologised and will cut & send another couple of blades

New thermostat to try and solve overheating and lack of flow. Still exactly the same, suspecting that whoever did the timing belt last either didn't replace the waterpump or replaced it with another plastic impellor one.

It’s got the wrong badge! Ha ha!!
Does the Leon stay or go?? A decision harder than Brexit.
Let’s just hope it takes you as long to decide if to keep it or not takes as long as Brexit. That way you’ll have it for many years to come!!:roflmao:
Hope you can keep it mate. I have mine as a hobby car and use my Volvo daily.
If you can afford to keep it as a hobby car I would, you’ve had it for so long.
Sleepless nights to come! Lol

I’m under no pressure to sell it quick so will not be making silly decisions.
