Hi found myself a possible 184 in white on a 64 plate 46.000 on clock
Questions are
how do you find full link on radio? looked on menu button, but couldn't see what I call the 6 little squares and phone symbol on screen. Does that mean it isn't on there, if so can it be installed? if so how?

had a report think it said partical filter. what does that mean?

it has 18" wheels so does that mean the bigger brakes?

and how do I tell if its got the better back suspension?
Think I was told can tell by the brakes are at front of disc on front and back.

Condensation in lights that norm in one of front and back lights

Also im sure the seats are different to a 150 fr I drove.

is there away I can or someone can put reg in to get the full spec of car?

I have a 184.

Full link easiest way connect your phone. Mine had to go back for the unit.

Mine has 19 and don’t think I have big brakes compared to a non 19 version

Mine is a fr tech

are ok do u need to have phone plugged in for it to come up on menu screen then? as I was just scrolling thro menu looking for the symbol. so symbol only shows if it sees a phone plugged into the usb in glovebox?

I plug my iPhone in on lower centre dash. First set up shows iPhone and then get message and it says your media is now connecting and Bluetooth is off as it’s CarPlay

You’ll know within seconds if it CarPlay works

Unfortunately that car is too old to have come with full link. Only cars from roughly march 2015 onwards. If it was capable of full link it would have at least a usb port and 3.5mm jack in the cubby under the heating/aircon controls.
Particulate filter is like a diesels version of a catalytic converter reducing nitrogen oxides going out of exhaust.
To tell if it has independent rear suspension, look under the car from the back. There should be a central bar with 2 separate arms coming off for each wheel, independent.
If there is a bar coming from one wheel with an unequal bar coming off it to the other wheel then that is a torsion beam which if it bothers you wont ride or drive as well. Personally I think they are worthwhile but obviously only tend to be available on the higher models - 2.0tdi 184 (diesel) and the 2.0 tsi 180 or 190 (petrol).

18" wheels are just bigger doesnt necessarily dictate bigger brakes but they are bigger on the 184 anyway than other models.
To check for details of car search on google for dvla vehicle enquiry. This should tell you the model and if it's been mot'd, taxed, etc.

The upgraded brakes and suspension are standard on a 184ps Leon TDI. Full link won’t be compatible as I have a 15 plate with the USB in the glovebox and it isn’t compatible. Condensation is pretty standard really on the lights. If the DPF light comes on it needs a really good run out circa over 47MPH for over 30 mins to clear it

You used to be able to do that but you can't force these cars to do a regen. They decide themselves so it may not try and do one even if you horse it for an hour.
