Hello,

I own a MK2 Facelift 1.4 60hp 3doors 2001 Ibiza.
Love it, i have it 12 years now.

But my EPC light gone crazy lately.
The problem is with the brake switch.
So i changed it.
EPC light is still on.

So i went to a mechanic who told me my car is probably the last one that survived here.
He took a look and found two brake switches:

a white one: 6K0945515A
and a blue one above it: 1h0907343

I tested both of them. They both work fine.
The white one is connected to the rear brake lights. They work fine.
The blue one - i got no idea what it does.

They are both installed correctly. But the EPC light is still on. Even after reset from a VAG-COM.

Everything in the car works fine. Except the EPC light is on.
Drives me nuts i can't find what is wrong here.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi broken man I also have a mk3 2002 had it ten years now . My epc lite drove me crazy for a few months on one minute off the next. Then my diagnostic port wouldn’t work . Played about with wires at back loose maybe then it worked and epc stayed of since then just a thought
