My 2016 mk3 fr 150 bhp sometimes has a judder when pulling away. Sometimes it's bad and sometimes it's not even there. The clutch seems fine and going the gears is fine and smooth. It seems to happen when pulling away in first, I've tried reverse and it doesn't seem to happen. I am thinking of a possible engine mount failure. Has anyone has experienced similar and found a remedy???

Mine does that when cold first couple of pull aways there's a bit of a judder as you said hardly any sometimes quite a bit sometimes. It seems to happen more with a bit of lock on.
Clutch is nice and low and it clonks into gear no problems.
It's a 2017 with 31000 on the clock.

Does it do it in eco or sport? I find mine can be tricky to not judder it when first pulling off in sport mode, but have no such issue in eco for some daft reason.

It might not make any difference for you as all it does is alter the throttle/steering settings, but it genuinely stops it happening on mine

It seems to happen more if you rise the revs and let the clutch up quickly to make a fast getaway

Took the car back to the garage and guess what, it wouldn't judder at all. Only thing I changed is that I normally fill up at Tesco but this time I filled up with a different brand fuel so not sure if that has anything to do with it. Also I have found that if you give the car some revs and pull away quick it doesn't judder anymore. Maybe the cheap supermarket fuel isn't good enough for the car

Tried mine in eco mode today no judder so as from tomorrow start off in eco then hit the sport button after a mile see how that works.

No judder from my 150 1.4 and it's on 24k miles. I have the DSG though and not the manual. Only judder I've had is from the tyres slipping on the greasy roads. Was bad on my Chinese ditch finders but I had some Eagle F1 Assy 5s fitted last week and it's not done half as much as it used to.

I have started to have the juddering myself, tends to happen a lot more when cold.

Will try the eco mode and report back.
