Not wanting to start an own thread for just this: Can you remove the fog light glass on the MK3 Facelift Cupra? Thinking of applying tint to the glass.

What a useless idea putting fog lights on a sportscar, much prefer the pre-FL look without a fog light.
You can buy pre cut tint. That's what I did. Looks loads better than stock in my opinion.

40 minute drive, 25 mile commute on dual carriageway/ 60mph roads with couple miles urban out of town. That’s changing gear at around 3k rpm or below ( I’m manual), engine mode doesn’t affect it.

I rarely go above 3.5k rpm unless someone is annoying me

Ha Ha, you have just revealed that when driven even properly, "powerful enough" cars with manual gearboxes can return good enough MPG figures, I can easily get 36+MPG with my 2011 Audi S4 saloon with 6MT without hanging about - though a lot less if having fun!

Looks nice. I already have a sheet of tint I'm using though. How much of the glass does it cover?
All of the front face as it curls back over the edges. The pre-cut tint is slightly larger than the flat face. You can't see any clear plastic/glass. Anything that looks like clear glass in the photo is just a reflection as the tint is gloss.

anyone got any remedies to get scratches out from the window glass? got a couple on both driver side and passenger side windows.

Had a look on halford but nothing. Looked on youtube an most of the people use a massive buffer which I dont have. Just was hoping for simple product to buy to then buff with a cloth.

cheers

hi mate. Try out a glass polish such as autoglyms/ autofinesse glass polish which you can get in Halfords. However scratches in glass are very hard to remove especially if they’re deep.

saw that just assumed it was just to clean the windows in general. The scratches arent that deep, rubbed my finger across them and i cant even get my finger nail to see how deep it is. Seen toothpaste and baking soda is a good mixture too, may as well give it go tomorrow

Well after fitting the footrest a few weeks ago...

finally received and fitted my passenger side light that I had made to match. Apologies for the photo quality.

Really easy to do, only took about 5 minutes to route the cable through. Made a little harder by myself as I’d already put the ends on the wire so it was plug and play.

May not be to everyone’s tastes, but I’m really happy with it :D

Also fitted the rear passenger side footwell light. Will do the driver side in the day light lol

Edit: Grrrr flaming iPhone when you choose a smaller size to upload changes the orientation of the photo :(

Someone called Dave Mayfield selling them in the Cupra MK3 Facebook group but he's said they'll also soon be available through EZM

Got some rubber grommets from Halfords to cover these stupid pointless dirt holes. The one nearest the coolant tank I had to put a plastic cap as the 9mm rubber grommet was too big for it

Just FYI guys the bottom one near the coolant tank is around 6mm so you’ll need two 9mm grommets and one 6mm grommet if anyone wishes to do it. I currently have the plastic cap (see photo) in the 6mm hole but will be getting a 6mm grommet

Fitted dsg extension paddles. Only the stick on ones. So far they seem ok and dont feel like they will come off. I dont use them that much either so should be ok. Time will tell. If they do fall off i have some strong 3m outdoor stuff that will deff hold them on.

Also fitted a cupra sticker above the gearstick

Both from aliexpress.
