iPhone contacts - some not showing

Just got a new phone, and not all my contacts are showing in the car’s phone book. About 50% on them are there, but the others don’t appear.

I had a Samsung phone before and didn’t have this problem?

Any ideas?

Do they all have phone numbers? Can't remember which phone it was with but I remember thinking the same thing with mine one day and it turned out that those that were missing either didn't have phone numbers, or there was some issue with how I'd entered the number.

Yes, they do all have numbers.

I have tried deleting and then re-connecting the phone but doesn’t make a difference.
