Hi everyone,

Has anyone try and succeed removing the front "Cupra badge" ?
Managed to do it properly for the rear one, but the front one seem tricky, afraid to break the plastics parts its attached to.

Thanks
And Merry Christmas everyone

It is stuck on and it has two pins to locate it in the grill.

If you remove it - you are left with a flat area on the grill and two holes - looks ugly.

Best bet is a new BLACK badge so it almost disapears.

Wooooooow £40! I paid £20 I think from a main dealer.

(Thats not a go at you BTW, as I know you're trying to be helpful, just an observation)

I got mine from these guys...

They're listers and a site sponsor. But I know I didn't pay £30, but then I was the first to order one and they only advertised it as I got mine.

I should have said that the listing was not a recommendation for a seller - it was the only pics I could find showing the pins on the back.

They've listed the part number in their advert, so sure they can get one from their local Seat :)

So are the ones you see on ebay (pictured) a direct replacement for the originals? My FR badge has a couple of chips in so was hoping to replace with one of these. Or are these just ones to be attached to a standard grille anywhere?

Yep, that's a generic aftermarket version: the genuine ones look like this:

Cheers mate, that pic will make it handy to get a suitable replacement

Looking at it I assume it staying in place owes more to the sticky pads then the rods or do they squeeze into something to stay in place?

The black section on the back is the double sided tape which secures it - the two pegs are just locating spigots to align to the grille
