Show fan speed in automatic mode

As you know, in manual mode the speed segments are led us indicating the fan speed, however they are not automatic. With this mod the it'll also show in automatic mode.

1 - Module 08 - Electronic air conditioning / heating
2 - Extended Coding (Bytes)
3 - Byte 11
4 - Enable Bit 6

I have OBDEleven Next gen PRO since a couple of weeks. I have done the adjustment above in the weekend to a Golf R 2014 and Golf Alltrack 2018 (face lift). This works on both cars.

When I do it on my Leon Cupra R 2018 the change isn’t stored. Says something about coding not relevant. I have used the "Long code coding" (not credits).

Perhaps I need to open up something else (another parameter) as well….?

I have this working on my 2018 Cupra R - I’ll check the settings and let you know what I done to get it to work :)

Did it again.

Enable fan level display on Climatronic Auto

Skipped the way of go via Byte 11 and bit 6 (Blower status display in auto mode)
No change since it was not possible to save/store change. (Worked on Golf).

Tried this one /other way again:
1 - Electronics Module 08- air conditioning / heating 7 - coding
2 - Extended Coding (Text)
3 - Select – Blower display in auto operation
4 - Change value to Activated

Now it worked! Very odd. Tried that last time but with negative result. Thank you for reply Paddy.

That’s exactly what I did for it to work, sorry for the late reply.
