So...

The time has finally arrived for my SEAT Exeo ST to leave home. I’m just trying to work out the logistics of getting all the B7 RS4 Avant parts down to the shop - all panels, front and rear bumpers, 4 genuine B7 RS4 19” wheels fitted with tyres, B7 A4 hood.

I guess the logical solution is to part strip the car, then bolt on as many panels as I can. It’s a 5 hour trip, so not exactly local!

It’s going to feel really weird driving the slower B7 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Avant. The SEAT is much quicker, and has better handling, despite still being FWD.

I can’t wait to get the SEAT body side covered. At least by the time she’s back home, it’ll probably be getting warmer, warm enough to start on the engine and quattro swap.

We should of sorted a SEAT convoy for all the parts in people's cars haha

Be great to see this going... I assume you'll be getting picture updates to get bits up when it's all done for us to see.

Good luck!

Im still confused a little by this project. So you bought a SEAT chassis that is the same one used for the B7 Audi. And you are making it look like an audi?

Honestly, I really can’t explain / summarise what I’ve posted over the last 8-odd pages.

If it’s not clear, then you’ve obviously skipped / missed something.

3 months, and £1200 / $1568 later, I have these:

I wasn’t aware they were double-skinned, believe it or not, between building the jig, getting stainless steel tubing with the correct angles, and getting the lot welded up, there’s 25 hours invested in these.

I’m deciding whether to get them ceramic coated or not.

Can see why you were asking how to remove some of the tunnel now, hope you have worked out some good heat sheilding for the steering rack!

Some nice fabrication there Nolls, keep up the good work!

How's the body side going?

Matt, thanks

The tunnel is staying stock now. These manifolds locate the turbos in the same place as the stock manifolds in a B5 S4 locate the K03’s.

I haven’t touched the bodywork yet, still waiting for my shop to pick up the car and all the parts.
