Cupra Engine Cover Delete

Guys is it ok to hang my engine cover up in the garage after fitting induction kit or do I need to keep it on for heat protection reasons? Can't see anything that's really protected by it but I'm no expert.. Thanks

Standard engine cover won't fit with an induction kit, most people leave them off.

You can cut them to fit around the induction kit (I bought a spare to cut down).

Just be careful running without an engine cover as water can leak via the plastic trim on the bonnet and drop into your engine (I've heard of rusty cylinders and knackered coil packs)

It's pretty straight forward, there's a thread on here somewhere that shows you exactly where to cut. That's what I used
