Time has come to change from my green 1.4 150 leon fr, it was a great first car and couldn't fault anything with it - in a way I was sad to see it go.

What have I moved on to? Well I like seats too much and didn't want to move away - here's my blue 280 cupra

Yeah, that's really nice! Welcome to the blue team!! Bet you can feel the difference in power.
Most definitely haha, haven't took it out of comfort mode yet, don't think I will for awhile yet.

Did I mention it's Apr stage 1 also? Not sure what bhp it is though

Nice looking car mate.
I did love your green one aswell though.
You building up to taking it out of comfort mode slowly? Lol
Definitely building up haha, probably a bit too much of an upgrade considering my 1.5 years of driving haha

How are you finding it after a few months of ownership and any plans for any mods?
Loving it, wouldn't change my mind at all.

Honestly I'm not sure what mods I want to do next, fairly happy with it at the moment (not sure insurance would be happy with any more lol)

Only issue is I've been "temporarily" moved work locations which amounts to 350 miles a week which I don't want on the car

This is car goals for me what a weapon of a car. I’d love to take this to the ring fair play.
After 1.5 years of owning the fr I knew I wanted a cupra, I saw this and thought I want it lol, should keep me happy for a few years

I did exactly the same as you, I Initially went for a Leon FR for my first car as it was the cheapest thing out there for the return.

Fast forwards 2 years and I got myself a Cupra 290, I'm in love with this car, don't be scared to play with the loud pedal, work up to how far you'll push it. I haven't yet pushed mine to 100% just yet, I have done a few tame launch controls with it though, they are so much fun!
