That's a pretty decent price for both as I've seen brand new Valeo units going for over twice that amount.

So I read a while back that it's easier to get to the turbo actuator hose connection from the underside off the car.

They lied.

There it is - all the way up in the top right of the photo...

Anyone got a part number for the gasket/seal that comes out of the coolant elbow on the engine?

I took mine off to day to remove SAI and combi valve, but the seal wouldnt go back in. Tried for 2 hours! I think its nackered and expanded.

I think this might be the part, the ID is 32mm, and 4mm thick so the OD must me around 36mm. I measured my seal and it was sitting at 39mm OD and it wouldnt fit back into the recess.

Seal part

(Eventually) removed the SAI system. Replaced coolant flange and gave the area around the gear linkage a little scrub with muc off and a tooth brush. Much better now, looked like a swamp before lol. And no more vibrating and jet engine noise on start up without the SAI. The rivets were shot to bits, no wonder it sounded so bad!

Did the door seal on the nearside door and remembered that I'm missing one of these screws that holds the door card onto the passenger side front door.

It creaks when anyone grabs the handle and it annoys the hell out of me. Does anyone know what kind of screw they are? I haven't come across them anywhere else in the car...

I found it strange when i got my Cupra i noticed that the LCR's have a different grill pattern. Whats with that? Im not sure what I prefer, possibly the honeycomb but im biased lol.

While we're on the topic of Grills, does anyone have any recommendations for what to paint the grill plastic with? Mine up close needs a touch up as its got some kind of overspray or something on it.
I don’t think it’s overspray.
My platinum grey has the same. I thought it was overspray too but I’ve looked closely at a couple of others and they’re the same.
They look like they have a similar fleck of grey in them as the colour on the car don’t they?
Be interested to see a yellow or a red cars grilles close up see if they’re the same.

Exactly that. I was paranoid the previous owner had a crash and did some touch ups. I recently saw a post about painting them gloss black instead of matte, I might actually go that route once the weather perks up and allows for out door activities.
