I think if its delayed it will be cancelled surely. They've already started producing the MK4 earlier in the year so can't see them starting production of the MK3 again once they get back up and running.

Only time will tell Kirky, it would be nice if they could honour the last of the mk3 Cupra orders, but you can also understand it if they can’t/won’t. Mk3 production has to end at some point. I’m just glad my ST FR DSG which was made build week 7 and finally landed at Newcastle last weekend, should be at my dealership at Kendal any day now. It’s on Motability, I can’t wait for our new baby! Due to my driving adaptations I never get to ever drive the car until the day I take possession, so fingers cross not long now. After arriving at dealership it needs a trip to Stockport to get my bespoke pedal adaptations and steering ball with 12 remote functions, indicators, lights etc. then back to Kendal and only then do I finally pick it up. I’m sure I’ll love it, the mk3 is such a nice looking car.

No I’m taking it to a family friend tomos who thinks it can be repaired

it’s through the thick part which is good

pressure warning came in and tyre is 27psi so it’s gone down

God damn!!

I had one in mine last month and they mamaged to repair it.... although the pressure didn't go down in mine.
Is that a rear tyre? It looks barely used as you can still just about make out the manufacturers stripe round the tread.

Great pics, magnetic grey is such an awesome colour.. the seats look lovely!
It was good until a million people got them on MY20 plates due to lease companies only thinking monochrome colours were available. So most people went grey . Blue and Red were the most common on the MY19, I've seen loads.

Yes rear tyre mate. It actually happened beginning of January. Only done just over 2k miles now, not using the car as much as I had hoped due to a change of jobs (nearer to home now). Not going to be anywhere near my 8k miles per year.

Here's a random question, can anyone post a photo of which way the usb sockets are oriented under the dash? Wantting to get a 90 degree cable for the phone so looking at which way it needs to bend to sit flush.

250 miles yesterday. Mixture of roads but wow this is a quick car.Glued to the road on 50mph turns.
Not even pressed on yet so looking forward to the 1k mark.
DSG really suits the motor , I couldn’t get on with it in my mk7 gti but it seems to flow in the ST.
I was passed on the M5 by an ABT and that took off from legal limit.
A few new controls to get around but all intuitive.

Got the tyre sorted and repaired £10

sent few emails and was lucky becuase just as thought dealer blamed me

drive 50 miles to Brighton and all is good thank god !

109 miles on the clock, took the scenic route so avoided motorway and bad good mixture of roads.

Am I ok for some motorway driving now or should I avoid it again until 600 miles

also I am supposed to have the advance driving pack, what did that included

I thought blind spot was one but I don’t seem to have that ?

It’s not ideal but you can do motorway driving just don’t use cruise control and try vary your revs and speed as much as you can. That’s harder to do then it sounds on a motorway in comfort/eco mode : )

To clarify that is it good to get in different gears or just keep getting the car to do between 1-3000 revs by altering speed

I can get down to 30mph in gear 6 !

On a modern engine that doesn't actually have a stipulated in oil change run in service post run in interval, then its more for driver accustomisation than anything else.

This isn't some high revving race engine - let it warm up and drive it how you fancy.

PCP / PCH whatever they're all just bloody rentals anyway

I suppose this was inevitable but SEAT are stopping production at Martorell on Monday for up to 6 weeks. So if you haven't had your car built yet it is going to be delayed. Even if it's built and waiting at Barcelona port for shipping I'd say that could be delayed also now, though I'm not 100% about that?
Spoke with SEAT today as my car is at the Barcelona port, they have advised that they are not expecting any delays and that my car ordered 20/02 will ship as normal
