Hi Guys
I have a 2005 TDI fr and I want to change my discs and pads, any suggestions?. I am kicking myself slightly as I renewed the calipers last year because the handbrake cable was stretched and adjuster was seized.
Are there any straight swap caliper and carrier upgrades?.

At the moment I have a solid disc on the rear I assume that I would need to upgrade the caliper for vented ?.
I dont mind doing a straight forward conversion swap as aI have done this in the past with other cars.

Straight swap rears from Cupra R - 256mm vented.
For the fronts there are lots of upgrades depending on your budget - 312mm from petrol Cupra / Golf GTI, 323mm from Cupra R.
I’ve got 312 discs with Porsche Boxster rear calipers.
You’d be amazed what a difference you get by just upgrading your discs & pads.
