The bumper, bonnet and front wing are unchanged in the facelift model so the headlight must be the same shape. The only thing to check in EKTA would be the mounting at the rear. I would be very surprised if they weren't a straight swap.

I would doubt they are a straight swap.
HID lights go through a self-levelling dance on switch-on, so there must be extra wires for that, plus level sensor.
HID has a single lamp each side, halogens have 2 so I suspect the rear box is different to allow bulb changes
LED DRL are variable brightness so there must be extra electronics for that

Ive a 2012 Spot tech with the DRLs. Had to change a damaged headlight and at over £500 a corner its a very expensive mod just for the headlight. Ive also got s switch on my dash to the right of the steering wheel that switches them on or off so I assume that its not a simple swap out. 'robthebubble' on this forum modifies headlights and fits LED strips so give him a shout.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. But in theory this is possible. Shape exactly the same. For the bixenon with halogen DRL it is the same plug. I have the new headlights sitting in my garage. And according to the mechanic it should be possible to code the new LED DRL to work ok.

Will let you know this week how I get on.

Fitted them today. Straight swap from the old bi xenon to the new. As you can see in the pic.

Now need to get the Led DRL working. The canbus just flashes up the DRL and parking lights are not working but there is no lighting the LED.

Anyone any ideas?

All other lights working 100%. Just the led strip isn't.

Hi folks. All sorted and working as of today. Got a new/used control module for the lights of eBay and fitted it. All canbus error have cleared and now led strips are working. Needs the CECM from a car that already had the lights with LED strip not only the bixenon lights.

Glad to have this all sorted though...

Can you post the exact part number of the used control module?
What changes are needed for the CECM?
