After searching forums and the internet high and low, I cant seem to find an answer to the question, can I upgrade from the 5in system that is standard in SE models to the 8in touchscreen in the Tech models. Now that the Mk6 has been out for a few years, the screens and 'Easy Connect' glovebox units are both easily available to buy from eBay. Is it as simple as purchasing both and installing or is there more to it?
TLDR: are SE models pre-wired for the 8 inch 'Tech' touchscreens?
