spotted a pic of Pohlen Racing's Bora R-TDI Wagon. It apparently has a 2.5 litre 5-cylinder and a 6-speed sequential tranny and makes a whopping 295 horsepower and 680 lb/ft of torque at 3000 rpm!!!

I found their website but unfortunately it's in German but there's some great pics of the car and if someone has the ability to translate some of the info, it might be pretty interesting.

Those are quite mild...

Ever been to British Truck Racing Association race meeting? The BTRA trucks have a minimum weight of 5,500kg, are limited to 100mph maximum and can do 0-100mph faster than a Porsche 911. All courtesy of their 1,100hp + diesel engines.

After the first couple go by it's like trying to photograph through a fog bank.

Thats 720Nm, so around 531lbft.
