mines sittin in the centre console God knows where its meant to go apparently it goes in the top of the gearbox but its not inportant???????? so my freinds at the RAC tell me..........had it check by them as i work for umSteve said:

like i said one of the mechanics at our place had a look for me and said it was nought to worry about so i took his word for it,maybe on other vag cars it maybe needed but he just said its nothin to concern meself withjason said:its to release the BS coming from this thread
surely its to stop something entering or leaving the box?or to plug a hole that isn't used by SEAT,but is by other VAG applications(sender of some kind),theres bound to be a hole in the box somewhere,that needs its bung back
if it was needed to bung up an important whole it should fit tighter than they do.
