Tickets arrived. Kids revving up. Mother-in-laws B& B on standby. :) All looking forward to a repeat of last years fun.

Just need the SCN parking but I suspect m0rk's a little busy with other arrangements at present.

Is someone else trying to pull the strings with SEAT Sport or direct with Motorvision???

Should be there once again this year, looking forward to the fuller grid.
I see you'll be there with the little guy again Tim, meet up on the way again?

Hi Nugget & "Mrs N"

staying down at Hartley so coming in on the little road from the North rather than M-way, so probably just see you there. Will have both the kids this time assuming they haven't killed each other before we arrive!

Anyone else travelling down from the North on the Saturday, grab yaself a Yorkie Bar and lets have a convoy.
Phil, decided against waiting for weather forecast, Brands camping gate charge £15.00, Ashford Travelodge £26.00. Bargain. Hot shower, ensuite bog, TV etc.

And approaching Brands from the south with all the sad puppies going to the car boot sale. :D

I take it they're going round the *yawn* Indy circuit?
Yes, which is a bit of a disappointment as they're doing that both meetings this year. Nevertheless we'll be at both, and the WTCC on the GP circuit:p

Grrrrr, why didnt we think of that, hopefully catch up with you guys at the weekend then.

The camping facilities at Brands are quite good actually, better than most i would say, its just the weather and temperature that could be a problem

I agree, reasonable toilets & ususally showers for the bigger meetings. Beats Donington Park, although they don't charge

April weather - either mild & wet or dry & freezing. The 2nd July DTM meeting at Brands is the one to camp at, either warm rain or sunstroke!! ;)

Ah well, it could be worse. It could be "Deathly Dull Donington" so I'll count my blessings and be thankful for the Indy circuit.

Perhaps now that A1 GP has been cancelled they'll let the BTCC boys have a blat round the GP circuit for their second meeting? We can always hope.

Even better would be to promote the DTM meeting to the GP circuit, although that would make Tom Kristensen's 200 laps earlier this week rather pointless.......

Sorry, bad choice of word. I should have said "postponed". The Brands Hatch round of A1 GP will now not be run in August 2006 as originally advertised. It has been moved to March/April 2007.

So Brands theoretically has a spare GP circuit "slot" for this year.
