Lowering kit for Toledo....

Hello guys. This is my 1st post on this forum. I am trying to locate a lowering kit for a 1996 Toledo. Does anyone know of any companies that do them for this car???

Try the Bilstein Catalog. Maybe they have the lowering kit that you are looking for.

Hi everyone, I´m in the same boat here.

Just bought a toledo, its an S reg, but the 1L model (old shape), ´am now hunting for a suspenion kit, something that will lower it atleast 60mm. As most of my cars have been at this height or lower.

Finding it a little hard to get bits/suppliers . i know coilovers are available, but i can´t see the point of spending 600 quid on suspension on a 900 pound car.

On this note i believe the toledo shares the same floor pan as the MK3 golf, the front suspension is the same, does any one know if the rear is the same too, as it is much easier to source Mk3 Golf suspension kits.

Pretty sure suspension is the same as the early golf 3. IIRC FK make some lower springs 60/40 or there abouts. If you need a strut brace, I've got a brand new one for sale in the for sale section (old post)..

IIRC the golf 3 rear suspension was slightly changed in '93 or '94 models, so you'll want something that'll fit a golf 3 before that.

A golf 3 before 93 shared the same suspension as the late mk2. So am i looking for mk2 suspension now? .. I´m confused ..

Hi Sarah , i´m ideally looking for a minimum 60mm drop.. 40mm is just not enough for the look im going for.. my last ibiza was 80mm and my vento about 90mm.

So i guess it just a bad habit now ; )

Sure will sam .. i´ll get some up of the ibiza too that i had with an 80mm drop on it. I just got to get out and take some pictures of it standard first so ican put a little about it in the members cars section.
