time for a replacement TIP be it a nice 80mm jobbie (plug) or someone elses's old one if not also rotten (like they go on the oil breather pipe)
fyi, you can buy a new "genuine" BW chra for £206 inc the vat... So if housings (exhaust) is ok, not cracked etc, you can essentially rebuild it...
