    That sounds like a faulty drivers door lock/mechanism. Does the interior light come on when drivers door open, does the light left on alarm work?...

    Try under the glovebox where the carpet is, pull it back and see if the underlay is wet at all

    Water soaks through to the from the front on both sides, pollen filter gets my vote too...

    The water can flow from front to back, so could be the pollen filter...

    That is the door carrier seals. There is another trick too, by using 3mm wire in the outer door seal where it meets the glass...
