  1. 1.4tdi eco gear 1 and R issues

It is plain english :) Is your clutch dragging? When the car is stationary, it is difficult if not impossible to select first or reverse If the shafts inside the box are rotating. If, when you put your foot on the clutch pedal, the clutch plate isn't allowed to rotate freely relative to the...

    Clutch drag?
  3. Brake Upgrade

Can't answer your question as I don't know enough about the Ibiza, but the usual route is the Lupo/Polo GTi calipers, G60 carriers and the G60 280mm discs. Needs 15" rims. The existing rear hubs just need the spacer plate for the caliper. I fitted a GTi beam and gained the ARB too.
  4. Project Seat Arosa 1.0

I've got a 1.4tdi. It's got Bilstein B6's all round, Fabia VRS rear Eibach springs, GTi rear beam, front arb, Mfactory LSD, 185/60x14's. It's great fun.
  5. Arosa dilemma

Worth it. Great little cars. Mine is a bit of a shed but never lets me down. Does over 50 to the gallon. Pulls like a train. Handles like a 2cv but always makes me smile.
  6. Pedal box

Have a look here for the part no. I doubt you'll get a new one but there are plenty of cars being broken on ebay. If you get yours off, it may be repairable.
  7. Seat arosa part hunt

    Seen this one? ebay
  8. Seat arosa part hunt

I tend to search ebay and gumtree for Arosa breaking. Clublupo has a few Arosa owners. Do you mean the blue that is really white? Mine is this colour and I can't see the blueness.
  9. What Bulb?!

I have now had a go. You just get hold of the fan switch knob and pull. The bulb is visible but takes a bit of removing with long nose pliers.
  10. What Bulb?!

I haven't tried it but there's a thread on Clublupo. I can't post links, so just google this: /67864-how-to-changefix-faulty-heater-backlight-bulb/
  11. power steering fit

I forgot about this thread but a mate has just scrapped a 6N which had power steering.... Doh.
  12. power steering fit

Mine has it standard. It shares the parts with the Polo. You'll need the rack, pump, pipework, mounts, pulleys, etc to suit your engine.
  13. Lupo GTi axle conversion

Mounting wise they are, apart from the abs equipped cars which don't have the valve block.
  14. VW T4 TDI Cruise Control for 6k2 cupra

There's a good write up on Clublupo, forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/44327-how-to-fit-cruise-control-to-a-14tdi. The cheapest I've found is off ebay - item 370635951208.
  15. Lupo GTi axle conversion

Anyone done this? I have one ready to go on but there's a few things I'm stuck on. It looks like the brake flexi's can't be removed with dropping the tank as there's no space to work with it in situ. The axle bolt on the passenger side can't be removed unless the pressure limiting block is...
  16. Sidelights stopped working during swap

An LED is a diode. If it's connected backwards, then no current flows and it won't light. If the holder only fits one way, then spin the bulb round. I have LEDs in mine, but I think I checked that they worked before I put the holder into the headlight unit. I found it easier to remove the bumper...
  17. Alternative steering wheel

Just to add that the Passat wheel is at least an inch bigger radially which is too much for me, my legs and the existing wheel already want to share the same space. It is much nicer to hold as it's thicker. So if you are short and sit very low in the car, you might be OK.
  18. Alternative steering wheel

Having now tried it, the column is fitted with an adapter that increases the spline to the larger size used on the mk4 Golf etc. I test fitted a Passat B5.5 steering wheel. Not sure what to do with the airbag wiring and horn ring, but I guess a VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda wheel will have the same...
  19. Arosa TDi

I've been lurking for a while but now I need to get my post count up so I can communicate.....
