The amount of money involved in turbo charging your 1.6 is pointless. Trust me just save your pennies and buy a cupra or even an fr. It would be cheaper to sell yours and buy one of them.

The helix is supposed to be a bit lighter than the sachs, but to be honest your never gonna get one that feels exactly like oem because of the stiffer pressure plate and clamping force

More people go for the Helix, but to be honest they both have there fair share of negative experiences that i have read over the years. Fact of the matter is they both can give you grief. Take your pick lol

I would listen to Dan FR, as everything he has mentioned is spot on. The fact that they are quoting £15 to change the stat shows they know little or nothing about these engines. I would find a Vag Specialist near you, not someone who maps all makes and models. R Tech, AKS Tuning, TSR...

Garage is taking the piss mate. Get yourself on the TFSI tuning group on Facebook and post your problem. Someone there will point you in the right direction. Which garage has quoted you that btw?
