There isnt mate. 4th gear onward for stage 2+ unless its bone dry and flat
Like i said im only 320 bhp and 300 ftlb and i can lay it down in 3rd just, unless its uphill lol, But if its flat and dry can put it down in second also, But the moon and the stars have to align lol
I also have...
Does anyone else notice its much worse when going uphill. It just makes it lift even more lol. was overtaking someone uphill in third and i could see the other drivers whites of his eyes as im struggling for traction by the side of him  and im only 300 ftlb
The amount of money involved in turbo charging your 1.6 is pointless. Trust me just save your pennies and buy a cupra or even an fr. It would be cheaper to sell yours and buy one of them.
The helix is supposed to be a bit lighter than the sachs, but to be honest your never gonna get one that feels exactly like oem because of the stiffer pressure plate and clamping force
More people go for the Helix, but to be honest they both have there fair share of negative experiences that i have read over the years. Fact of the matter is they both can give you grief.
Take your pick lol
Seriously mate take heed, as ive heard nothing good about them either.
As for posting dyno graphs. I would be more concerned about how safe the map is rather than what power its producing.
Whatever you decide, good luck
I would listen to Dan FR, as everything he has mentioned is spot on.
The fact that they are quoting £15 to change the stat shows they know little or nothing about these engines.
I would find a Vag Specialist near you, not someone who maps all makes and models. R Tech, AKS Tuning, TSR...
Ive already told you to join the tuning group on facebook, as thats were all the enthusiasts hang out, and thats where you will sort a replacement engine.
I could give you a few suggestions, TSR Performance and AKS Tuning to name two, but as i dont know where your based didnt bother.
As for...
Garage is taking the piss mate. Get yourself on the TFSI tuning group on Facebook and post your problem. Someone there will point you in the right direction.
Which garage has quoted you that btw?
From what iv'e read its more than likely the compressor, hence why i haven't tried to fix it. very expensive to fix, and there's know way im forking that much out for air con
