You just need the 2004+ as the ring gear is different from the previous versions.

Is it not the turbo bolts to the manifold? Mine rattled out so I put some stainless steel ones in instead. Under a heat shield at the back of the engine. PITA to get to.
If I remember correctly someone fitted one onto an FR awhile ago and said that either there was a bracket missing/needed to the drivers side to hold the intercooler to.
I'd use the forge intercooler fitting guide on their website to help you along...
Stick with stock and just replace the filter more often. I've spent more on induction kits/open cones/after market filters than I care to think of.
I'm sure seat spent more than £20 on the development of the air intake.... perhaps.
On my current car all engine parts are stock original DV...
I won't bother with the extra mods, perhaps meth injection.
Injectors - don't max the standard ones on a stage 2
Inlet Manifold Spacer - I did it anyway but never logged temps
Hard Intercooler Pipework - Its already metal apart from the "pancake pipe" at the top of the intercooler
