The scissor jack that comes with the mk3 platforms is a full scissor, so it's a little better than the jack that came with the mk2 platforms that is only a half scissor.

Check all the manuals and service book are in the glovebox, also sat nav SD card is present. Make sure the locking wheel nut key is in the boot and the tools if you ordered a spare etc. I hope this helps

When was the water pump last changed?

The standard fit wheels on the Cupra 290 ST are 19" wheels as well. I would go with what is says on the sticker inside the petrol cap and see how you get on.

Did you clip the cable back onto the back of the inner door handle when you put the door card back on?

The 1.8 TSI Leon runs 312mm front brakes, 16" steel rim will clear this no problems. Unless you have an ST Leon, it won't sit flush in the spare wheel well though.

The Leon ones are a really loose fit, I have just tried on a set from a MY15 Skoda Yeti and they fit a lot tighter on the normal Leon bolts, the locking bolt ones fit about the same. They are silver though, not black. I am going to be ordering a set of Yeti ones I think. I also tried some from...

My 65 Plate ST FR 1.4 ACT manual works exactly the sames way as yours Aardvark, kickdown type function only works in ECO or if the engine is set to ECO mode on the individual setting.
