I very much see the Leon ST 4drive as a rival to the R, and maybe the S3, behind in interior finish but performance wise they're essentially the same car.
I've been experiencing this in my 19 cupra, If it's warmish inside the car and cold outside, when I get in it's fine but after about 30 seconds it'll all steam up..
Had me sitting in the middle of the road with hazards on one evening because I couldn't see anything a few seconds after pulling...
i understand it may be too late now but an important point to highlight again - when buying anything, not just a car, you should always bring it straight back to the place you bought it from right away. I get the impression you felt you didn't have any recourse with the trader because it wasn't...
"traction controll lamp lit up for few moment and hearing the wheels spinning a little. Is this normal?"
with ESC on, seeing the light flash is normal if your car is detecting wheel spin, that's it attempting to correct it by reducing power and other magic I don't understand.
I got this for free from the Seat dealer and was initially very impressed, water beading was great etc but I wouldn't be paying lots of money for it. it should be free with any new cupra IMO, along with the cleaning pack.. it's in their interest to have lots of shiny cupra's on the road anyway...
Interesting, i'll take a look at that thanks!
I wonder if too much weight with the seats down can cause this, as thinking about it now I feel like I started to notice it after a trip to woodies...
Hi,
I have my cupra ST about 5 months now and recently I've noticed an annoying squeak from the rear seats anytime I go over any bump/speed ramp.
I'm pretty sure it's due to the side leather of the seats rubbing against the plastic trim.
Anyone any recommendations to prevent it?
Why would...
I'm guessing as I haven't researched but I assume they introduced the 2.0 tsi 190 for WLTP? - I wonder how the WLTP MPG compares, or it could have been to introduce the petrol particle filter (or w/e it's called) - like what Audi did with they 1.4 tfsi -> 2.0 tfsi
Anyone change the Haldex AWD system setup?
Default is standard and there's "increased traction (more power to rear wheels)
Also, anyone know if the park pilot will activate on a cupra st 2019 reg?
Nice to lower the sound actuator, worth it for that alone
Had my cupra about 2 months before a Seat Leon FR driver pulled along side and gave a thumbs up.. Gotta say, it was a nice feeling, like.. "say man, nice life choice, you win!" kinda thumbs up haha
What pressure washer are people using? I want to get one but also don't want to spend extra money on something that's overkill. (sorry to slightly hijack but seems relevant!)
IMO, and because it's on mine haha, the copper SEAT badge is nice and will be more rare once the cupra badge is on all new cupra leons (next year I guess?)
I do about 16 miles each way on 90% motorway. If I keep it around 100kph/62mph in eco individual then I average about 38mpg, it regularly peeks to 42mpg but that's cause I'm rolling a lot, eco really can help if used correctly (i.e, used to maintain momentum and avoid braking when safe/possible)...
Thank you all for the helpful replies, it really shouldn't be this difficult! I did think it was in the service book but I've no idea where that is gone (another issue to sort haha).
I think i'll order L5L5 from halfords and test it in a really hidden spot.
Thanks, I looked this morning and this is the only stick I found (i have the beats sound if that makes a difference)
Doesn't look the same, do you see a paint code here?
I have a 2019 leon cupra st in urban silver and struggling to find the paint code, could anyone tell me?
I backed into a piller and chipped the bumper :( going to try fix it myself before shelling out a few hundred.
