Joe, mk1 Leon FR - Southampton

All sorted now - replaced the turbo, bought an EGR delete valve and remapped up to 190bhp. Not bad considering this time a year ago I was driving a 60bhp Fiesta!

I'm planning on doing that too. There's no point keeping a changer that doesn't work!

I hope to god its not my gearbox haha. I think I've got a split hose too, that seems to make more of a whistle instead of a whine. Might be worth just biting the bullet and taking it to a garage so they can have a listen..

Well, it may be something else. I'm not totally convinced. But yeah, I had my Dad have a look too and it only seems to whine when I'm accelerating. It's a weird one.

I've got a whine from my turbo - kind of sounds like a siren - that has recently started. I've done about 70'000 miles and there's nothing in the log book to suggest there have been issues before. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it worth hanging on, on the off chance that the turbo...

I'm not surprised they left the CD changer. Probably a Leon owner themselves and know the changer is shite haha.

Has anyone else had a problem with their lock mechanisms? First my passenger door lock died (but has since been replaced), but now my drivers side back door won't unlock. I'll be ordering the lock soon, but I can't see how to get the door open, to change the ******* thing. Any advice?
