Thanks Thomas, I just found a great 'how to' for that. Much cheapness just requires a bit of effort. My kind of fix!!
Any tips on drying it out?

I have just noticed that my drivers footwell is a bit wet. Whilst hoovering the carpet I noticed moisture being drawn out.
I've did a wee search and found some posts on the passenger footwell.
Are there any common causes for the driver side?
Cheers

Hi All,
One of the first things I do when I get a new car is find all the details I can for carrying out maintenance on it.
I am used to having access to these types of literature, but so far I have found nothing. Does it exist for the Leon Mk 1? 1.8 20v (non turbo) preferably.
I am...
Look at the wiring loom behind the head unit and swap over the wires that have the connection on them. My ones were Red & Yellow. I suspect that with the after market head unit required the red wire to be connected to the yellow one and vice versa. Going back to an original one you will need to...
Perhaps an ambiguous question..
How clean is 'clean' when it comes to the EGR pipe (throttle body to EGR) on a 1.8 20v Leon?
I've taken the time to strip down and clean everything, but the pipe seems to be incredibly awkward without a 'bath' or similar. It's an incredibly crap run of pipe...
Yeah pipe cleaners was what I thought about using but thought someone may have some innovative methods to share.
The valve only has a 5-10mm orifice on it with no space on it.
I found some EGR Valve cleaner at auto save but it wasn't cheap and the tin expell's itself very quickly! I think...
I have my EGR valve removed on my Mk1 1.8 20v (non turbo) Leon. It's a bit gunked up and so is the pipe from the throttle body to the EGR valve.
What's the best method to clean these? The Valve has very small orifices and the pipe is an extremely awkward shape to clean. I would post images...
Hey,
So I find myself here looking to tap into the specialist knowledge on here.
My story is that up until last week, I drove a 2007 Mercedes C200k Sport in Opal Fire (Red) which I sold, and replaced it with a 'sh*ter' for £150. A 2003 Seat Leon 1.8 20v SE. I bought it knowing it has...
