Just going to throw this out there, but if you can;t get insurance on a 143 i assume you're not going to tell them about the re-map to 200, and given your previous crash/points history, what happens if you crash again and they decide your insurance is invalid??

TPMS is based on EPS readings (Wheels turning at the same rate, if not a flat tyre) so they are probably linked together. As for glow plug light, who knows. A basic fault code reader should help

Did the spring work? I’m interested as I have something similar on mine however not on acceleration but more at low speed over rough ground. I thought it was the anti-roll bar bushes so swapped them out along with the drop links but it made no difference

Anyone know a way to remove and replace the alternator on the TDI without removing the front bumper and radiator? I can get to the top bolt easily enough and the lower one with a struggle, but looks like its going to fowl on the fan motor once i pull it out. Any suggestions? Dave

They do indeed. If it's fully dark everything kicks in. It's just that twilight and daytime rain where the front sidelights come on but nothing at the rear.
