  1. Infotainment in loop

Bumping this thread. I took delivery of a new Seat Ibiza in April 2023 & have been experiencing the issue of the infotainment system restarting repeatedly (but not every journey, some days everything is fine). From what I have read over the past few months, this appears to be a fairly common...
  2. Ibiza 110 Xcellence/Lux Query?

Off the top of my head, the two main differences between ‘Xcellence‘ and ‘Xcellence Lux’ in the UK are the inclusion (with ’Lux’) of a rear view camera and digital dashboard. There may be other differences, but those were the two main differences I noted when reviewing the spec, prior to me...
  3. New MK4 SEAT Leon pricing and finance offers announced

Thanks for the quick reply. Yep, found the option to download the the price list, which does provide further detail on what the FR First Edition has. In addition to the regular FR, the main additions are: Dynamic and Comfort Pack: Front and rear shock absorption, Dynamic steering, Front disc...
  4. New MK4 SEAT Leon pricing and finance offers announced

I can see that the configurator is now live, although there is currently no option to configure the FR First Edition (appreciate that the only option for this model to chose will be the colour). Keen to know if the FR First Edition comes with Dynamic Chassis Control. Reason for raising this...
  5. New Leon mk4 thoughts

If anyone is interested, it is now possible to configure the new Seat Leon on the Spanish version of the Seat website (www.seat.es)
  6. Mk4 interior

Cabin design spy photo for the 2020 Leon has surfaced: https://www.motor1.com/news/358656/2020-seat-leon-inerior-spied/
  7. 1.4 ACT - rattle/vibration as engine switches to 2 cylinder

My understanding is that ACT was only on the 1.4 TSI 150 & now the 1.5 engine. I don’t think it is a feature on the 1.8 engine, so you would not see the ‘ECO’ notification on the driver display of a car with the 1.8 engine
  8. 1.4 ACT - rattle/vibration as engine switches to 2 cylinder

Thanks for the replies - really appreciated. So it appears that I am not alone with this issue & I am possibly lucky to have got as far as 27k miles before the noise started. I will again mention the sound to the dealer at my next service (which will before the 3yr warranty expires) & will...
  9. 1.4 ACT - rattle/vibration as engine switches to 2 cylinder

I have a 2016 Leon FR, which I have owned since new & have covered just over 32,000 miles Really like the car & had no problems, until I reached around 27,000 miles, when an intermittent rattle/clicking/vibration type noise appeared. I took the car into the dealer & went out on the road with a...
  10. re delivery date and online manual

I ordered a 1.4 TSI FR on 24th March & was quoted 8 - 12 weeks. Car arrived at the dealer on 27th May & was available for me to collect on 31st May (although I collected on 1st June)...so from my experience, 9 - 10 weeks seems to be the current timescale for factory builds.
  11. Passenger Side Rear Door

I learnt today that all the windows open fully if you hold down the unlock button on the remote for a few seconds, so it is fairly easy to open all the windows fully in error - in my case, I was trying to fold in the door mirrors (which is done by holding down the lock button), basically, I held...
  12. DAB Radio

Took delivery of my 1st Leon last week, which replaced a Mini Cooper. Prior to delivery, I had suspected that DAB reception in the Leon would be worse than the Mini, as the Leon has no external aerial (aerial built into rear windscreen). However, I was surprised to find that DAB reception is...
  13. Front Parking Sensors and Optical Display

No worries d0mj4y. I will request a copy of the factory order from the dealer & report back once I have a copy.
  14. Front Parking Sensors and Optical Display

Hi d0mj4y, I do not have a breakdown of what was sent to the factory, all I have is a 'Vehicle Order and Agreement' document from the dealer (received in the post yesterday) - this document lists: Vehicle Ordered: SEAT LEON HATCHBACK 1.4 EcoTSI 150 FR 5dr (Technology Pack) Manufacturer...
  15. Front Parking Sensors and Optical Display

For the FR, the only way to get Front Sensors is to order the FR Assistance Pack, which consists of the front sensors with optics & the camera. The FR Assistance pack first appeared on February price list & is £375.00. There is still an option to order the camera only (£215), but if you order...
  16. Front Parking Sensors and Optical Display

The 'Build Your Dream Seat' configurator on the Seat website is STILL listing 'Front & rear parking sensors with optical parking system display' as part of the FR spec. If anyone is interested or wants to check, then try pricing up an FR on the website & click on the 'Total ROTR' section...
  17. Front Parking Sensors and Optical Display

The current literature on the Seat website is a bit of a mess. Part of the February brochure has been updated to reflect the changes in spec for the FR (Rear sensors only), but on a different page in the same brochure, it mentions Front & Rear Are standard on the FR model. The Feb price list...
  18. Front Parking Sensors and Optical Display

Not sure, but on the positive side. this company does appear to be quite specialised & mentions that they fit the fronts sensors WITH optics, using OEM parts, so I don't think there would be any difference from factory fit? They charge just over £500 (with VAT) to fit the front sensors with...
  19. Front Parking Sensors and Optical Display

This is my first post on here, so 'hello' from me. Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to Peter55 for highlighting his predicament - he has done me a massive favour, as I placed an order for a Leon FR only yesterday afternoon & was under the impression that my car would have both front...
