Hi..Can anyone tell me if this strut brace will fit the LCR with or without the engine cover?...as in the description says it fits mk4 golf but says mk 2 leon 1M :blink...

usually the fans pulse on high speed when the resistors fail with air con on.. sounds like it could be the fan control unit.. but not sure.. guess you could test the supply to the relays and you could try running a 12v supply to the fans on the high and low speeds wires to check the fans are...

have you checked the fuses on top of battery.. ..ususally when the slow speed resistor fails, the fans come on at high speed every few moments if i remember rightly

ive just fitted some weitec 50/40 springs n dampers but cant comment on the ride yet as its not back on the road!..i too didnt want anythign too harsh or too low tho.. i heard good things about them tho and tehy were under £400..it lowers the LCR by 20mm and 30mm

got my car back from the garage..then been away a few days.. come home to the jacking point cover dangling on the floor with abit of tape on it..hmmm wernt like that before it went garage!.. anyways i couldnt get it to clip back on that nite so i give up..next day i tried again and it...

arhh thanks..it will be the Mk.3 then.. and looks like i wont be able to to scan it then..but thanks for your help looks like its back to square one ..will have to see if she can get the the person who scanned it the first time to return ..and ill try and find out exactly what code its throwing...

Hey.. not my usual forum as i have a LCR.. but a friend of mine is having problems with her 2005 1.9TDI toledo.. she had the engine light come on.. she had someone look at it.. they scanned it and it showed a fault code with the MAF sensor which they cleared..i dont know what the exact code...

did u remove the whole lock mechanism or drill the plastic rivets n leave the lock and outside handle in place?

did u check the fuses on top of the battery :)
