Apparently it’s a very easy cam belt change to do, locking pins required though, The local VAG specialist near me quoted £350 to do it, my mate did it for me for £60 inc water pump change, I supplied the genuine parts from TPS

How much fitted ? Is it a blank behind ? Or is the old radio unit still fitted behind the new unit ?

Is it wet in there when you’ve had it apart ? I’m just thinking that the water could be coming from somewhere else, like the wiring grommets where they go from the car body to the tailgate

That’s the problem, it doesn’t say exactly what needs to come off, I think the line is, “other parts may need removing” not helpful at all

ive got to renew my Aircon condenser, has anybody carried out this job, or a radiator change, and if so, does the front bumper need to come off for access ?
