You probably want some input from Kraken on the usage as I'm not familiar with it but it would seem that there is a definite improvement assuming the figures don't lie! So the tuning box presumably at its highest setting has knocked around 1 second off the 0-60 time for the manual 1.8 TSI...

I'd also be interested in an A/B performance difference. I'd quite like to know how the 0-60 and in gear acceleration times change, as part of me is a bit sceptical about whether tuning boxes actually make the car faster or just appear to!

Being slightly naive but doesn't a map and a tuning box do the same thing effectively? Updating the map for more fuel and x rpm etc. or with a box fiddling the sensor values to make the current map give more fuel at x rpm? I guess whichever method is used the turbo is being asked to boost...

@tony20: Did you post your videos anywhere else by chance as I have the same car as you and was interested in the DTUK box? I'm not sure whether a tuning box or remap or nothing at all is the way to go. There's a lot of comment on whether one should remap an engine or not etc :-)
