The hybrid is particularly annoying for this if you unlock the car to unplug the charger(which in my case involves an extension out the window currently). Neatly wrap the cable back up and just as you go to open the boot to store the cable the bloody thing has locked itself 😂

I don't think it's particularly quick to 60 in pure ev mode, maybe close to 10-12 seconds I think I read somewhere. I agree it feels fast but that's more like 0-40 then it struggles after that. Very quick around town car though and amazing off the line for real world driving

Had this same issue on Friday but after an hour or so it had resolved itself. Interestingly hard resetting the infotainment made it freeze on loading settings which I had in my mk8 golf and resulted in the whole unit being replaced. Spoke to my dealership today who said a number of chassis...

Hi all, I picked up a 70 plate(Oct 2020) FR Hybrid yesterday and noticed when I connected to the Seat app it has an oil change service in 42 days but the next inspection is in 407 days. I contacted the dealer and they said its on a long life service every 2 years and I can reset the oil change...

Haha I wasn’t here to start a war! I loved my Seat but I do think ‘off the shelf’ the GTI looks much better, I also think it looks better than an R, the red stripe across the front and into the lights is much more aggressive than the R and Seat offerings and personally I prefer the 2 rounded...

Ah that’s a shame, yeah if Seat tell you Feb/March you can probably add another 4 months onto that as well! I was considering the cupra but doing 17,000 miles p/a would have burnt a very large hole in my pocket and I may as well have moved into a petrol station haha It’s really noticeable...

To close this out... I returned the Seat a few weeks ago now, miss the time we spent together and the time I didn’t spend at petrol stations... Had a scratch on the boot - about a finger nails width but deep enough to take a nail, a scratch on the plastic door mirror casing, small palm print...

It’s pretty quick, not so much that it will damage the car but it doesn’t hang around. Have to be very careful closing the boot with them fitted and not do what I did by pushing it in the middle and leaving a dent of my hand haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
