I have a 2016 Cupra Black that has full link as standard. The low down power is pretty good and pulls hard from under 2k revs, it does tail off above 6k like most turbo engines but low revs to around 5.5k its very strong. James

I've not heard of any turbo failures with the EA888 gen 3 engine. It's also used in the Leon FR, Audi A1, Polo gti etc. As far as I know the IS12 turbo is good upto 270bhp, any more and you are looking at the IS20 from the Golf GTI which is good up to 335bhp and after that the IS38 from the...
