Hi even though the noise appeared to be from the top end it wjas thebig end bearings. I have had the crank reground and new bearings fitted and all good now. Richie

Need help before i take a sledge hammer to this car!! Car has given me loads of issues to find and fix now there is no spark at the plugs?? I've checked fuses connections and earths cant see anything that jumps out Any ideas please?

Hi i have a leon cupra with auq engine which is noisy/tapping from cam cover I have replaced cam chain and tensioner , all the tappets , oil pick up pipe and oil pump but its made no difference!!!????? What else can i check???

Hi recently bought 53 plate cupra with auq motor, it has a rattle/ tapping top end I have replaced oil pick up pipe,oil pump,cam chain and tensioner and tappets but still rattles Doing my head in now what can it be?[:
