Cupra 300 st with mk7.5 golf estate exhaust

That Maxton diffuser fixes something I never liked with the original one. This is where you could see the back edge of the exhaust tips from the side. I'd decided against fitting R back boxes for this reason, now I'm definitely interested again.

Question for member who has fitted Bonnet Hydraulic Struts

A simple mod which I always enjoy when I (infrequently) open the bonnet! I cut the foam, to easy not to do.

That's a beauty! Great wheel choice. Which exhaust?

    Seat base swapping

The gap closes up when you sit in the seat. Then the two surfaces rub together causing a squeak/creak. Yes I used a thin microfiber cloth first.

    Seat base swapping

In my case it fixed it. I tucked a microfibre in there first, I finessed this with the adhesive felt.

    Seat base swapping

I had the same problem. Fixed by sticking a piece of adhesive backed felt to the side of the bolster where it comes into contact with the plastic part of the base. The felt is black so doesn't stand out and I just wide enough to cover where the two rub together.

I get the same occasionally, happens with BBC sounds and Spotify too. No idea what causes it or how to resolve it yet.

    What Colour MY19/20 Cupra?

Urban silver for me. I'm a fan of silver cars and they stay cleaner in winter, well sort off.

You call that clean! Those exhaust tail pipes are filthy! Only joking, looks great. Looking to fit Golf R back boxes next month.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the picture of? What is a typical cost for the Haldex service and at what mileage should it be done? Thanks in advance.

    Cupra R Bumper Inserts

I agree the cornering illumination function is useful, but not indispensable. My 280 didn't have them. I assume removing them would be a modification that you'd need to notify your insurer for. Even with the intake plastic modified, the lamps are now inset with the intake overhanging the lamp...

Thanks for the info. I'd be interested to hear how that sounds.

Cupra 300 st with mk7.5 golf estate exhaust

I had considered exactly this. Although I'd have thought that, whilst being as loud, the twin exits might change the tone/note of the exhaust. Some YouTube research is in order.

Could you please share the part numbers for these. Thanks.

Cupra 300 st with mk7.5 golf estate exhaust

I like the oval Cupra tail pipes, so this idea is appealing. Twin exists that the R and S3 have seam a bit excessive for a 2L hatch/estate. Having said that I'd put up with the looks for more sound. Any Idea of the cost do this? I imagine the sound from this setup would be the same as no rear...

Cupra 300 st with mk7.5 golf estate exhaust

Yes you can, but at a high price.. Alternatively you could modify your current diffuser. It can be cut and heat moulded to accommodate the double tipped back box.
