Yeh need to get that sorted too. It's probably not that noticable on the video but it is in person, there is an air escaping (dump/mini flutter) sound on lift off. It's more audible when in the car I think

Put stock airbox back on and no BOV so does this sound like an air leak on lift off or is that just normal turbo noise?

You know the diverter valve is required to recirculate the unused air....it is not a dump valve....you WILL blow your turbo so your mechanic friends were obviously seeing nice big repair fees for replacing your turbo

Would agree, check there are no split hoses or any that have popped off.

Due to a bolt being snapped in the subframe when I first got the car and no logbook it has given me time to do a few little bits. So far: Breather hoses replaced as they were perished Rocker gasket done New cat and centre section New wiper mechanism as had seized New dogbone mount and gearbox...

I have solved the problem pretty much, it was the spacers weren't sitting flush, so after getting them on nice and flat the problem seems to of gone, but its still not at a stage I am comfortable to drive it far so once the subframe is done and the bushes on wishbone are replaced I can test it...

It's got coilovers on it at the moment but they are old ones so not in the best condition, they are on mtly to do list

I was avoiding doing it as subframe and wishbones, track rod ends.... need swapping so I know it will be thrown out again lol is it easy/doable to track it myself so it's close enough to se if it's that?

Really? When I googled it, I know Google doesn't know everything, everywhere said tracking was not a direct cause. It was my first thought as its had new wishbones so chances are tracking is out
