Definitely something not right. I filled up 2 weeks ago with VPower and having done quite a bit of motorway driving and some town driving I have just managed 415 miles on a tank. Think my average was 37.9mpg and that was giving it some beans every now and again! Chris.

That's not a bad price for a well know tyre. I paid £60 fitted for each front tyre and they've been brilliant for 2000 miles. Hardly any wear and iv been driving the car hard over the last few weeks since the remap. Highly recommended!

Just a quick update. I have spoken to the tuning garage today that dyno'ed my car and as expected they did not change anything at all within the ECU. The figure they were altering was how long the dyno program would run for so as to get the smoothest line possible. So the outcome is that...

You thought about a remap? It really does change the car into a beast. Iv got the manual 6 speed so don't have any issue with paddles. Have Seat suggested replacing it to fix the problem? Chris.

It's a bit confusing but luckily all I know is we have one of the most tuneable engines from standard supposedly. Have you had much work done to yours?

I was thinking of changing for an updated Sachs DMF too but it's pretty expensive!

Yeah I was assuming this but just a bit gutted as the car has seemed to run perfect after the remap so was hoping the original clutch would hold out for a few more miles!

Sorry, I should have mentioned, the car wasn't dyno'ed before and after the map. The car was mapped elsewhere without the use of a dyno, just a pre edited ECU file. The car then drove absolutely fine for 2000 miles over 4 weeks and even on route to the dyno it was pulling normal in every gear...
