  1. Cupra servicing

It’s on fixed time and mileage. Why wasn’t I given the option of long life servicing though? Should I have been? I thought time and mileage was 10k or 1 year anyway? This will be only 9300 miles. Seems a bit soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Cupra servicing

Hi My Cupra 300 is now 10 months old and on 8500 miles. Today a warning popped up saying service due in 800 miles. This surprised me as I though it was 1 year or 10k miles? It’s also annoying how my mates golf r is on long life servicing. Is that not an option for my Cupra? My car is on...
  3. To dealer or not...

As long as they use genuine parts and the right oil, I’d go with the cheaper option personally. A good halfway option is a specialist instead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

My lease with VWFS includes breakdown cover for the whole agreement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Making customisations

Yeah, it looks like it’s gone up now. I’ve just checked and I paid £9.99 back in October. The dongle is handy to have though as it’s fully ELM compatible. It worked fine with the Forscan software I needed to use on my wife’s Fiesta.
  6. Making customisations

I bought the genuine Carista dongle from amazon for about £10. When you try to use the app for the first time it will ask you to pay. If you do the year subscription you’ll get a month free. You just need to cancel before the free period ends. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Cupra 300 Spec help

My mate has a facelift R estate and I’ve got a 300 ST. We got them within a month of each other and I’ve driven his for comparison. The interior does feel higher quality in the R and it does get some extra standard toys such as adaptive cruise, phone app connectivity, virtual cockpit and heated...
  8. Cupra 300 Spec help

If adaptive cruise is cheap enough then I’d definitely get that. My mate has it on Golf R and it’s pretty useful. Works best on a DSG though. I wouldn’t get KESSY personally because of the security risk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. What colour should I pick for my Cupra 300

I think I know the colour you mean as I’ve seen recent Clios with a really deep shiny red paint job. Looks really good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. What colour should I pick for my Cupra 300

Desire red is quite pearlescent so it looks brilliant in the sun when it’s clean. Here’s one on a more overcast day... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Cheapo boot liners any good.

That actually looks like a bracket for a DVD screen. I had one my old car a few years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Vague steering

Since this morning, my steering has started to feel vague, like it’s understeering, and I have to correct it more on the motorway. I think I heard a clunk pulling away from the lights too. The car is only 7 months old with 6500 miles on the clock! Has anyone else had this? Sent from my...
  14. Making customisations

When you first get the app you get a months free trial anyway. They have to invite you to use the beta app. The beta is valid for 90 days, although it gets updated quite frequently which resets the counter. It shouldn’t affect the warranty at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Making customisations

Just thought I’d post an update about this. I emailed the developers of Carista and it turns out it didn’t work because they hadn’t released an update for the facelift Leon yet. They gave me access to the beta version and after a bit of testing and various updates, I now have made these...
  16. Windows opened by themselves

This hasn’t happened again since, so I’m hoping it was just a mistake on my side. I’ve enabled chirp on unlock and window close on rain detection too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Cupra 300 5dr or ST?

I personally think the ST looks better but I am biased as I have one [emoji3] The ST drives great and doesn’t feel heavy at all. I’d recommend it just for the practicality. I fit my new 55” tv in the boot easily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Windows opened by themselves

I’ve just tested this. Held down the unlock button and left it. The doors locked themselves again after 30 secs and mirrors folded back on on their own, but the windows stayed open. Maybe it was an accident after all. Hope so! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Windows opened by themselves

I hope that isn’t the dealers answer [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Windows opened by themselves

My mirrors unfold as soon as I press unlock. The doors were still locked and deadlocked. I couldn’t open them from the inside. I’d also have to hold down the unlock for several seconds to open the windows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
