Sadly, my two year lease is up and car went back today, so I thought I’d jot down a few reflections in case of use to others.
In short, this has been all I wanted. I had read lots but not driven one but the lease deal was so good I couldn’t justify going for anything else comparable anyway.

I've had SP4s on the front of my 300 for 10k after the Contis wore out at 7.5k. Much better and no probs with the Contis on the back. Still got some life in them but it's starting to follow the contours of road under full acceleration, especially when damp. Had the odd trouser moment. Still get...
Not near car right now but I think you switch middle display to driving info and then click the OK button (right hand of steering wheel) and this cycles long term/refuel/from start.
I've had the digital dash on mine for 7 months now, the first digital one I've used, and have had no problems with legibility at all either night or day. Not distracting for me in practice either. I think it's a much better idea than mechanical given the flexibility.
My only criticisms are that...
Hi
Noticed one is missing from my Cupra 300 - is this something I can pick up at the Seat garage (not local to me) easily enough does anyone know?
Thanks
Had the Cupra ST for a few weeks. All good apart from trashing tyre and damaging wheel in first week.
I did think the rear calipers didn't look quite right but assumed was how it should be as same both sides. Looking at photos online I'm not so sure. It looks like I'm missing a cover from the...
Certainly lesson learned about lock!
The rim damage isn't too bad. A little over a cm long, not too deep and on the top edge of the rim. Hoping can be sorted.
I ordered a new tyre.
Got my brand new Cupra on Tuesday that I am delighted with. Last night in dark, pouring rain and very heavy traffic I managed to rip side wall and put a dent in rim making room for emergency vehicles. All at crawling pace.
It's a deep rip so back in the old car for a...
Mine was a week 4. Was at dealers a couple of weeks ago and delivered on Tuesday. Delighted with it so far even though driving gently for first few weeks. It's an ST and, to me, looks terrific in Monsoon Grey. For the 10 mins I can keep it clean in this weather of course. I hadn't seen one other...
Just had call. Mine coming tomorrow, delivery rearranged from Thursday. At least will be able to drive it straight away as snow gone. Just wet roads. Have kept it a secret from my petrol head son. Will be a nice surprise as all he's known for last 7 years is my diesel Insignia.
Mine was week 4 (I think). Due to be delivered today but, understandably, didn't happen as it's in Derby and I'm in Dorset. Try on Monday. No big deal as couldn't have driven it anywhere, snow has hit hard.
I had a call from my dealer early last week telling me that car was arriving the next day and gave me a list of registrations to choose. Finance documents emailed this week, delivery confirmed for 1 March. As always in life it depends on the efficiency of the individual - I've dealt with a chap...
Thanks for this. I get same a week today so great to hear some initial impressions whilst waiting. Agree the value is brilliant. Mine was around £1400 down and £229 a month for 11k pa so a similar deal I think when you do the maths.
I'm still slightly beating myself up for not going for the 5...
