Hi yes you can. Got a friend with a 59 boc with a CTHE engine, his CAVE got replaced 30K miles ago for a CTHE. its just a revision of the CAVE, they're all 02M configuration so will all fit in exactly as it should.

It's absolutely normal, they are supposed to expose themselves, you can see the rubber the slider sits on is in tact and fine, if you're concerned just get a 7mm allen key and check they're tight, but nothing to worry about.

Hi Guys, I don't know if you managed to sort this out. I changed mine a few months ago, put a 2013 FR Flat bottom on a 2011 CR Eco with the old airbag with no issues. Old Airbag, new wheel, horn works fine too. Hope this helps at all Regards
