Hi all, so had this altea for just over a year now, great car. But, its always had a hollow 'knock' from the NSF suspension over uneven surfaces. Just passed its MOT with no advisories, and I mentioned this knock to the tester who could find nothing wrong. But its been there since Ive owned it...

Got the anti-hijack disabled, and also now 1 press of the key to unlock all doors. Thanks everyone. also got brake lights that now flash under heavy braking. And I thought this feature was only on very new hi end cars? Cool for a 2005 car. By why is it not enabled from the factory? Russ

Most commonly relay under drivers dash. There are two of them, both the same "463" stamped on them IIRC? The one on the far right controls rear wiper and washers. Cheap to replace and 5 mins to fit. Russ

Yep, it lights up when lights are on, and turns red when locked. Thats it! I think I'll disable it with VCDS. Russ

I have the exact same issue. Doin my flippin head in.... all locks work normally etc etc. Ive also tried a new switch from Seat. Pain in the ass....
